"Bhaag D.K. Bose, Aandhi Aayi" (Hindi: भाग डी.के. बोस, आंधी आयी) (English: Run D.K. Bose, The Storm's Here) is a Hindi song composed and sung by Ram Sampath, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya for the 2011 Hindi film Delhi Belly. The promotional video of the song, featuring Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunaal Roy Kapur, has been directed by Sajid Shaikh.
In the song's lyrics, while 'DK Bose' appears to be a person's name (Deepak Kumar Bose), it is sung repeatedly in the chorus to form the deliberate mondegreen 'bhosadi ke' (Hindi: भोसडी के), a Hindi expletive.[1] The lyrics were apparently inspired by rants of reality star, Dolly Bindra on Bigg Boss (Season 4), as she regularly used phrases like Bose D. K. [2]
The Central Board of Film Certification got into trouble after approving the song in one go even though a section of the people were angry at the obscenity of the lyrics.[3]
However, the song was a massive hit with other sections of Bollywood film and song lovers, especially the younger generation.
